Yogesh Kumaran
CO-FOUNDER
Yogesh is a Biomedical Engineer and current dual MD/PhD candidate in Biomedical Engineering, with a focus on Orthopaedic Biomechanics. He holds a Bachelor's of Science in Bioengineering and a Master’s of Science in Biomedical Science.
He has over eight years of experience leveraging computational modeling, simulation tools, and mechanical testing of medical devices. His current work focuses on integrating multi-modal inputs and patient-reported outcome measures to develop data-informed in-silico models, evaluating post-operative biomechanics of both patients and implants to improve surgical planning and outcomes.

Jacob Schmieder
CO-FOUNDER
Jacob is a Mechanical Engineer and current dual MD/PhD candidate in Bioinformatics. He holds a Bachelor's of Science in Biochemistry and a Master's of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
His dissertation focuses on leveraging machine learning and wearable technologies to develop data-driven models that support clinical decision-making. Beyond his research, Jacob is a full-stack developer with expertise in designing, building, and deploying software solutions specifically for healthcare applications, combining his engineering and medical training to bridge technology and patient care.

Muzammil Mumtaz
Scientific Advisor
Muzammil is a Biomechanical Engineer holding a Bachelor’s of Science in Mechanical Engineering, a Master’s of Science in Biomedical Engineering, and a PhD in Biomedical Engineering with a focus on Orthopaedic Biomechanics. He completed his post-doctoral training at Wake Forest University School of Medicine.
Spending over a decade in the orthopaedic biomechanics space, he has extensive expertise consulting on projects for the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD), National Institutes of Health (NIH), National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) and for medical device industry partners including AlphaTec Spine and TruSpine Technologies. He is a current Assistant Professor at West Chester University
