• Yogesh Kumaran, PhD

    CO-FOUNDER, CEO

    Yogesh is a Biomedical Engineering with over nine years of experience leveraging computational modeling, simulation tools, mechanical testing, and motion capture analysis. His research endeavors focused on integrating multi-modal inputs and patient-reported outcome measures to develop data-informed in-silico models, evaluating post-operative biomechanics of both patients and implants to improve surgical planning and outcomes. Yogesh holds a Bachelor's of Science in Bioengineering, a Master’s of Science in Biomedical Science, and a PhD in Biomedical Engineering with a focus on Orthopaedic Biomechanics. He is also a current MD student.

  • Jacob Schmieder, MS

    CO-FOUNDER

    Jacob is a Mechanical Engineer and current dual MD/PhD candidate in Bioinformatics. He holds a Bachelor's of Science in Biochemistry and a Master's of Science in Mechanical Engineering. His research work focuses on leveraging machine learning and wearable technologies to develop data-driven models that support clinical decision-making. Beyond his research, Jacob is a full-stack developer with expertise in designing, building, and deploying software solutions specifically for healthcare applications, combining his engineering and medical training to bridge technology and patient care.

  • Muzammil Mumtaz, PhD

    Scientific Advisor

    Muzammil is a Biomechanical Engineer holding a Bachelor’s of Science in Mechanical Engineering, a Master’s of Science in Biomedical Engineering, and a PhD in Biomedical Engineering with a focus on Orthopaedic Biomechanics. He completed his post-doctoral training at Wake Forest University School of Medicine. Spending over a decade in the orthopaedic biomechanics space, he has extensive expertise consulting on projects for the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD), National Institutes of Health (NIH), National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) and for medical device industry partners including AlphaTec Spine and TruSpine Technologies. He is a current Assistant Professor at West Chester University

  • Stuart Schaefer, MBA

    Business Advisor

    Stuart is a serial entrepreneur with a background in corporate finance and global strategy. He holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and Post-Graduate Certifications in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence from the University of Texas at Austin.

    He is the Founder and CEO of Preedix, an AI consulting and development firm specializing in building and deploying advanced machine learning and AI solutions that drive enterprise decision systems and operational efficiency. With a long history of innovation and startup leadership, he has co-founded five technology startups and served as a Founding Entrepreneur-in-Residence at the University of Cincinnati Innovation Lab and as both a team member and an instructor in the NSF I-Corps program, helping translate deep-tech research into market-ready ventures. Before entrepreneurship, Stuart was an executive with Procter & Gamble, where he held global leadership roles in Health Care and Corporate Planning, shaping strategy and analytics for complex international businesses. His career blends technical depth in AI/ML systems, strategic business development, and a proven track record of scaling innovation across corporate and startup environments.
